The Blue Room Café at Point Lookout boasts the best café views of the ocean on the north-western side of North Stradbroke Island in Queensland.
A place that I'm describing beach shack vibes meets health-conscious goods, The Blue Room is a must for those keen for a beautiful, sun-kissed space that offers coffee and baked goods. It even ranks on TripAdvisor as a place to visit on a trip over to Australia's second-largest sand island.
On our trip here, Tomoyo went with a chai latte while I opted for the almond milk. We also grabbed their toasted banana bread and açai bowl — both which I highly recommend. For other options, you can look to their Instagram for inspiration.
When you're done at The Blue Room, make sure you take a walk along the Minjerribah Panorama Coastal Walk. Heading in the eastern direction will lead you to a part where you can get direct access down the hill onto Frenchman's Beach, while going further towards the west will take you to the Gorge Walk, a spot where Tomoyo and I saw a myriad of Australian animals like Kangaroos and Sea Turtles on the short 1.2km route.
