ウェッジ・エスプレッソ

Wedge Espresso is a café nestled within the Acland Street Village in St. Kilda on the corner of Acland Street and Carlilse Street.

Formerly St. James, the rebranded café had a calm vibe during our visit.

Tomoyo opted for a chai latte and the Pork Belly Eggs Benedict, while I went with the big breakfast (long time, no big brekky) with my standard almond latte.

The location is very convenient — St. Kilda Beach is close by and we happened to go on a Sunday when the St. Kilda Esplanade Markets were open (naturally we went after our brunch).

There is surprisingly little media coverage and information on the change, so I cannot comment too much on the history of the café or the why behind the change! If you are the owner, feel free to reach out with the info and I will happily update.
