A Fresh Brew at Öopen Café, Windsor
❤️ 🦄 🎉
Tucked away near the train station in Windsor, you'll find a neat café with a unique fusion concept. Öopen Café serves up a blend of Scandinavian and Vietnamese food - a combination as unique as the Melbourne coffee culture itself.
On a cool Sunday, the café offers a cosy refuge, providing an inviting atmosphere and a sense of tranquility. I chose to mix things up by ordering an almond latte. As the aroma of the coffee filled the air, ABBA's 'Mamma Mia' echoed softly in the background, adding a touch of nostalgia and a homely feel to the entire setting.
The menu, though unexpected, presents a tantalising array of dishes. In an adventurous mood, I ordered the chilli scrambled eggs with an extra side of potato rosti. It was a feast for the senses - vibrant in colour, rich in texture, and amazing in taste.
Öopen Café is indeed a hidden gem in Melbourne's coffee scene. It encapsulates a truly global culinary journey, all the while embracing the essence of the local coffee culture. It's an experience not to be missed for any Melbourne coffee enthusiast.
